Mirror believes Robbie Savage is now a £2.5m target of Blackburn (see here). It seems we're never mentioned in the online edition of the paper unless it's to do with someone going in for Savage. I think this one has legs, though (although now Everton have cash they may try to hijack the deal) - and unfortunately I think it would be a good time for both him and us to part company. He's done wonders over the years, but more recently I think we've come to rely on him too much (ironic, considering two of our three victories in the last 20-odd games have come when he's not been in the side) - especially at set pieces.

At least if he did go, we'd only have to endure Bruce picking just one of his favourites in the midfield week in, week out...
