I've just realised something. The letter we received this morning threatened to take away our green bin if we attempt to put it out with normal rubbish again. That's fair enough, but I've just emailed the council to ask why - if that is their policy - that next door still have their green bin, considering they've been putting it out every week, filled to the brim with rubbish!
I await their reply with interest. Naturally, past form with West Wiltshire District Council has taught me not to hold my breath.
