That's one in the eye for Blair, who attempted to water down the EU's guidelines on combating global warming. Sorry, but if this man takes the threat of global warming seriously, it's time he acted tough (see here).
A happy birthday to my brother today - my goodness, he's 30! I hope my card arrived in time, and he's not having a crisis of age (I suspect Annabel, his daughter, doesn't give him time to indullge in such frivolties!)... Just spoken to him on the phone, and an interesting conversation about football was ended sadly by Scampi (real name Zebedee) the dog being sick on their floor!
Saw The Green Mile on DVD last night - at three hours long I thought it would drag, but superb from start to finish, and highly recommended. Tom Hanks is a fine actor, and there were superb performances from all the cast, especially Michael Clarke Duncan as John Coffey.
And Blues took another giant stride towards safety with a thoroughly deserved 2-0 win over Liverpool - once again the Match of the Day highlights failed to do justice to it, but we were the featured game on Football First, so I've managed to watch most of the first half so far, with another 45 minutes to sit through if I can be bothered...
