Meanwhile, my uncle is doing a sterling job with the fascia replacement programme. We've (okay, I've done little more than pass through tools or stand on the bottom of ladders so far) only replaced the bits that are rotten, primed it all and soon it will have a nice fresh coat of paint, which we'll extend to the whole fascia at the back. Jeremy is also going to repaint the white render too, so a major step towards getting our property ready will have taken place.
Shame it's not the 1st February, I might have fancied a Premium Bonds win...
