Blues petition closed

The anti-Bowyer petition has been closed after someone who signed it today was allegedly punched for doing so. Do you need me to highlight the irony of this? All I do know is that it appears that Birmingham City FC is suited to Lee Bowyer based on some of the objectionable postings I've read over the past few days from many in the pro-Bowyer brigade (should I be surprised? This club's violent past has clearly not been left there by some). A clear majority want him at the club, and if the latest Evening Mail reports are anything to go by, he'll probably be persuaded to come.
