Drinks carton recycling

Sad as I am, I've been hoarding my old tetra fruit juice paks in the knowledge that there is a single plant in the UK that currently processes them for recycling. I went online today to try to track down the address (all I know is that it's in Alloa, home of my favourite Scottish football club), and discovered that great strides are being made towards getting people to recycle these cartons. Loads of local authorities have expressed an interest, and some are already collecting the tetra paks, helping people cut that little bit more from their waste. I see West Wiltshire is in the "might be interested in the future" bracket (typical), but Colchester is in the "very interested" category, and as adjoining districts are already recycling, it bodes well for the future.

You can find out more about carton recycling in your area by clicking here.
