Guess who needs to switch off his appliances at night? A wake-up call for me in today's Independent, here. I should point out I always switch off the TV using its on/off switch, but clearly I should be powering down the video, HD recorder and cable box too.
Oh, and here's the reason I stopped buying any sort of product from Esso years ago (and why I find its advertising claiming it's helping do more than anyone else to cut pollution and emissions a gross misrepresentation of its true position on climate change) - only 15 days late, but what the hell - see The Guardian, here.
