Still no news

You know the score: buyers not chasing their financial advisor who still hasn't responded to the Halifax's calls, yada yada. It's getting rather boring now - we're torn between two locations (although to be honest, one and a half feet are in the Wiltshire camp, because the longer this drags on the less confident I am that we'll be moving as a result of this chain).

Disposed - correctly of course - of our old freezer over the weekend, and cleaned out the cupboard in the kitchen. There's a deceptive amount of space in there. If this move goes through our sellers are leaving us their fridge freezer, so we haven't looked into getting a replacement yet. It'll be subsistence living between now and the time when this move either completes or we find ourselves back on the market.

Good weekend for sport - Blues won their first game of the season (after characteristically letting a comfortable 3-1 lead slip to 3-2 after some shambolic defending, ensuring a nervy half an hour), and England scraped home in the cricket.

Stuart Close really is beautiful in the summer - I shall take that crumb of comfort should our inept buyers fail to see this process through...
