Lazy Sunday

After being non-plussed at my non-reaction to Blues' latest defeat on Saturday - and yes, I will be watching us take on Liverpool in the Cup on Tuesday night, even though we can already predict half of the score: Blues, 0 - I had a lazy Sunday today.

Watched England play well in the cricket. Re-watched the excellent One Dayer between South Africa and Australia from last week, and am currently watching Fulham holding on to a deserved 1-0 lead against Chelski. Did some hoovering, washing up and built my PC as far as I can ahead of the delivery I expect tomorrow. There was a further twist on that - Ebuyer must have spotted they'd put the DVD drive in again, because it was removed from the new order and placed on its own (with a cost that presumably has already gone on to my credit card, so will have to be refunded). Thankfully I was able to cancel this. So the good news for Ebuyer is that it's ripped me off to the tune of one floppy drive, because to be honest I cannot be bothered to chase it as I have a spare here. The bad news for Ebuyer is that I will never use it again, and would not recommend it to anyone.

Note the use of the words "further twist". Citylink's Web site says there are two packages slated for delivery tomorrow, so until they arrive, have been inspected and my new PC is up and running I won't be assuming anything. I was also unimpressed to find the thermal module for the processor came with no documentation whatsoever, and required a fair bit of force to put into place. Some of the thermal paste came off on to my hand while I was faffing about trying to get it to work, so I'm praying it all works properly tomorrow.

90 minutes has just come and gone at Craven Cottage, and four minutes of added time have been given! Fulham still clinging on 1-0...
