Plastic recycling

Apparently there is nowhere in the UK that processes plastics of types 4-6. I find the fact that companies stamp the recycled logo on plastics that cannot actually be recycled in this country disgusting, and now I have to find some way of actually venting this anger on someone who might be in a position to do something about it. I suspect all the plastic I've currently been storing up since our move may come in useful here...

EDIT: I have discovered that the minister in charge of "Waste" at Defra is a Mr Ben Bradshaw, MP. I have just written a letter to him asking him the above questions - in a polite and restrained way naturally - and am now just off to toast my official entry into the realms of middle age (sob).
