Blooming postmen!

Checked the post just now to discover two red "Sorry you were out" cards on the doormat. Strange that, because I wasn't out and I didn't hear the doorbell ring. This is the second time this has happened - basically they must assume you're out so don't bother delivering the goods and wait for you to rearrange delivery. That's fine for regular post I assume, but one of these was a special delivery. It's a bloody good job I wasn't desperate for that package, because otherwise I'd have to wait another 24 hours to receive it. Not impressed!
