Of all the revelations made by Kenny Cunningham...

... over the past few days, the most damning - and insightful - are here:

He's spot on. We were not unlucky to be relegated (34 points from 38 games is nowhere near enough - after all, in our first season West Ham were relegated with 42 points), and Portsmouth were not lucky - or if they were, they at least earned their luck.

If Blues are to progress - with unsackable Bruce at the helm or not - then it is time to ditch our "old-fashioned" approach and embrace modern methods. Invest the money here instead of on another ageing has-been and we will reap the rewards in the future. All we can do is hope the Blues board aren't so pig-headed they'll ignore it.
