Remember this when nPower come calling for your custom

nPower wants to dump half a million of tons of ash into an Oxfordshire lake that is particularly rich in wildlife (see here).

I must try to remember that should any of their salespeople call. I'm getting heartily fed up with the human race. The BBC recently had the following headline on its front page: "Could the human race be destroying our planet?" Excuse me? What's all this about "could"? The bare, bald facts are that we are destroying this planet. Let's stop talking around the problem and confront it head on before it confronts us head on (and believe me, if you think we're clever and resourceful, wait until Mother Nature takes charge - you'll see just how "clever" and "resourceful" we are then).
