The UK from space

Satellite images have revealed just how hot it is in the UK at the moment (see here). Current climate change predictions suggest the frequency of these events will increase, but if the Amazon rainforest does disappear within a few years as was suggested in the Independent recently, then I suspect we can start looking forward to a lifetime of droughts. It would be very apt if the generation that ushered in uncontrollable climate change is left to deal with it.
