Jasper

We've just checked in at our lovely - and very reasonably priced! - B&B in Jasper after a 250km drive from Emerald Lake. Emerald Lake looked much better this time round - helped by the fact the lodge we were staying at (129GBP per night!) has a better view of the lake. We waved goodbye to Emma and Paul this morning - they travel back to the UK with the bride and groom tomorrow - and hopefully they'll consider going with us on holiday again in the future as we've had a lovely time with them!

Everything gone to plan so far - some beautiful photos, including some new shots of places we visited last year to compare with 2005's vintage.

This will be the first of our four nights in Jasper - this Internet cafe is just one block from the B&B so we'll be regularly checking in to keep you appraised of our meanderings. Oh, and in case you were wondering, we weren't upgraded to an SUV, the boot is much bigger in the Ford Fusion and - so far - it's been a pleasure to drive...

Now to read more of Blues' 4-1 win over Wrexham...
