Depressed? A little, but I'm beyond anger now. I'm into resignation. This feels like the five stages of grieving, but while we wipe out a hundred species every day, life will continue after we've finally paid the price for our indulgences, so why should I care? In five million years time - the blink of an eye in geological terms - there'll be nothing left to even suggest we were ever there. Let's hope the next intelligent species to evolve on this planet doesn't make the same mistakes...
