The whole global warming story even made the front page of The Sun today, as well as dominating many other news sites, including the BBC (see here). As soon as "economics" are involved, the powers that be suddenly urge action. Better now than later, but I do wish we could live in a society where money wasn't the prime mover in all things...
In other news, I spent a pleasant day with Joe in Suffolk, ostensibly on SupportPCs business. The site is starting to take off, with a vibrant forum thanks to the efforts of our friend and colleague Caroline, and regular hits on the ads, which helps justify all the effort we've made on it so far. Having said that, we need ten times as many clicks to make it really viable, which means ten times as many visitors I guess. Oh well, at least things are moving on that front.
Anyway, Joe and I had a "productive" day recording some stuff for a "podcast" of some of the stuff on the site's new blog (here). It's a different kind of blogging to That's Weird, which is more fun than work. Still, I'm enjoying it, even if I don't think a Nick's Rants Podcast will be coming any time soon!
