Crumbs of comfort

Large areas of the world appear to be growing their forestry stocks, according to this report. While there are a lot of "if's" and "but's" to it, and critical areas like Indonesia and Brazil are still losing their forests, at least some areas are reporting growth. Let's hope the trend continues - if nothing else, once we wipe ourselves out there'll be plenty of forest left for other forms of life to recover and thrive in...
