See here. If it happens, what will the "hard-hit" fishing communities do then? What is it about humans that sees us so keen to kill the goose that lays all of our golden eggs? Perhaps the Age of Oil is about to be replaced by the Age of Extinctions, and I wonder how we'll feel when bio-diversity collapses around us? No doubt it will be someone else's fault...
