Television star

I'm stretching the point here, but today when I went to Abberton Reservoir this morning to help out as a volunteer, we discovered a BBC film crew would be recording some of our exploits for a new Alan Titchmarsh series due out in the autumn on BBC1. Each programme will have a short localised segment for the part of the country it's viewed in to try and encourage more people to get out and about in their local environment, so unless you live in the Look East region you won't have to remember to avoid the series.

The mini-shoot aside, it was a good morning and I felt relieved to have found the time to go down to Abberton again - hopefully it's something we'll be able to keep up for a long time, as it's good exercise if nothing else!
