Eng-er-land!

Congrats to the English test team today - four batsman have scored centuries, the first time that's happened in an English innings since 1938. Even better, test debutant Matt Prior became the first wicketkeeper to nab a century on debut. As I type, they've just ended the day's play on a massive 553/5, with Bell and Prior unbeaten. An overnight declaration will follow, and hopefully they'll be able to bowl them out twice over the next three days.

A far cry from the debacle Down Under, but the perfect response and a great way to get Peter Moores' England coaching career off to a good start. The other great thing about this English side is the strength in depth we now have, with players like Flintoff and Vaughan replaceable and a great set of young players waiting in the wings. Now all we have to do is cement our position in the test arena and improve our woeful one-day record.
