I see my favourite airline has been at it again. The ASA has ordered Ryanair to stop claiming the airline industry accounts for just two per cent of emissions, because it didn't make it clear it was a global figure. In actual fact, 5.5 per cent of British emissions is made up from air travel, proving that once again we Brits are doing more than our fair share to damage this planet.
The full story is here - what really winds me up is the final statement: "In January it conceded, following a BBC investigation, that a claim it had cut its CO2 emissions by half in recent years was 'a mistake'."
Just one more reason never to fly with that disreputable company.
