Cavities filled...

... No, it's not a post about dental work (if any dental work is required, I won't know until I have my first check up in two years on 5th September), but a post to commemorate the fact our walls have been filled with cavity wall insulation. An excellent service from the Mark Group (see here), who I'd recommend in an instant to anyone thinking about having it done. The cost - thanks to a local scheme between British Gas and our country council - was a very reasonable £250, and we should hopefully get that money back in energy savings over the next two years. More importantly, of course, the house should hopefully be a lot warmer this winter for Petit Pois' arrival in late November.
