Soil Association gets tough on organic air freight

Full story is here. What makes me laugh about the predictable and pathetic responses to the Soil Association's decision is that there are two reasons why air freight shouldn't be encouraged. The first is obvious - climate change (hello government and business - it's here, it's now and it's already wreaking havoc across the world, just ask the Californians). The second is masked - and that's why food from an African country is feeding us instead of helping to feed people in Africa. This obsession with globalisation and money needs to stop - voluntarily before environmental changes force it upon people too stubborn to see the disaster they're walking face-first into.
