Bush, unsurprisingly, has appeared to have won the US Election. Sadly for the rest of the world, Americans in their millions have also strengthened the Republican hold on the legislature. Thanks a bundle - that's four more years of environmental irresponsibility, four more years of fuelling the fire in sensitive regions around the world, and four more years of turning a blind eye to the role you (and the rest of the West) play in creating and arming terrorists the world over.

What a happy world we live in... It's hard to remember that Bush 'only' appears to have won by 3.5% - that stills means a majority of American voters think it's clever to vote such a man and his record into office. Somebody somewhere is having an idealogical chuckle at all of this, as the world's 'greatest' democracy once again proves it has its people cufflinked to big business - do these people have no sense of responsibility to anyone other than themselves? No? Then if you can't be trusted to act in anyone's interests other than your own, please feck off back behind your own borders and leave the rest of us to clear up the mess.
