I recently started buying online music downloads again. I've ditched the MSN music site in favour of Napster, which offers a far better way of sharing music. For starters, its protected content can be played on up to three separate PCs in your home, which is perfect for my network. Also, it's got tracks I couldn't find elsewhere - in a strange way, it's the only way I keep up to date with 'modern' music (by modern music I mean pop that would turn the heads - and stomachs - of most self-respecting music aficionados in disgust).
Off to Bristol for some last-ditch Christmas shopping tomorrow, plus to try and find myself a suitable present from my lady wife. I've just bought a new TFT monitor (17-inch) for myself, so she gets my current 15-inch model and we get to donate the hulking great 17-inch CRT monitor on her desk to the scrapstore. Something tells me I should think about upping the mortgage payments again...
