Let's not talk about the football - we were never going to get a result today, and luckily I was watching some genuine entertainment while Steve Bruce demonstrated that this club is heading for the Premiership trap door tout suite under his current management (or lack of it).
The entertainment in question was the Honda Masters tennis at the Royal Albert Hall. We saw Jim Courier beat John MacEnroe in the singles, and Toni was very pleased to see Boris Becker take part in a hugely entertaining doubles semi-final with Henri Leconte, Ilie Nastase and the superb Mansour Bahrami. The quality of tennis was breathtaking, matched only by the comedy value of all four players trading trick shots and mock insults.
So forgive me Blues if I leave you to wallow in your own ineptitude this evening...
