It can't be any coincidence that since next door finally abandoned the property (this was confirmed by the landlord yesterday), the neighbourhood cats are creeping back into our front garden. Jasp is currently sat on my music keyboard staring out at them in disgust, but it's good to see that life might be finally returning to normal in this close at long last.
Having said that, the rubbish left behind is disgusting - it'll be a few weeks before the landlord can move anyone else in. We've been informed they're Polish, work for him and currently have no car. Music to my ears...
