House valuations

Two down, one to go. Not very good at all. Put simply, the top end of their valuation is 15K less than the amount I'd secretly hoped for, and 5K less than the amount I felt it would ultimately be worth. It looks like we'll have to either revise what houses we look at (I'll have to phone and cancel one such viewing in a minute, as it's way out of our price range now), or consider taking on a bigger mortgage.

The estate agents loved the property, but ultimately it's undone by its area. Whoever we do go with, though, we'll be putting it on the market at the top end of their valuation, because I think once people see it they'll fall in love with it. Put simply, you cannot find houses this big - old or new - that easily...
