Time for new solicitors

In 2000 our solicitors charged a total of £690 plus VAT for their fees, which covered both sale and purchase fees. Now the price has doubled to £1,350 plus VAT. Looks like I'll be looking elsewhere for solicitors then - unless they all charge this amount!
