Use your vote

Whatever you do, turn up at your polling station tomorrow to vote. If there's nobody on the ballot paper you wish to vote for, abstain by spoiling the paper and making any comments you like. Candidates must agree that a paper is spoiled, so have to see it for themselves. Imagine if all of the people who don't vote tomorrow made the effort to abstain - what kind of message that might send out.

For my part, I've already voted. The latest opinion poll for Sky News with a larger sample than any other (nearly 2,500) has the Lib Dems on 25 per cent, their highest showing so far. Labour are on 36 per cent, and the Tories on 32 per cent...
