Saw the final Star Wars movie this morning in Bath. Hugely enjoyable, but then I seem to be far more easily pleased these days when it comes to movies! But it tied up all the loose ends and set the scene perfectly for Episode IV, which - thanks to George Lucas' strange numbering sequence - was of course the first Star Wars movie made back in 1977.
Can't wait to own it on DVD to complete the Episodes I-III set. Still haven't bought Episodes IV-VI on DVD though - I have the Special Edition on video, which for now is more than enough. Strange, there was a time when I hoarded DVDs and CDs, but no more - now I buy most of my music online, and I'll probably do the same with movies when they become legally available in that format. I may not buy into the whole "piracy funds terrorism" argument (actually, judging from what I've read, "governments fund terrorists while they consider them freedom fighters and not acting in opposition to their own interests" is a more accurate description), but I do buy into the moral and legal argument.
