An event-free trip in both directions, traditional wedding service and lovely setting for the reception. Some good tunes on the dance floor (yes, they played a-ha! Even better, it wasn't Take On Me!), and a lovely room for the night across the road from both the church and the groom's parents. If you're ever staying in this area of Derbyshire (see here), I recommend the Red Lion Inn as a good place to stay. Congratulations to George and Sheena - and all the best in your future lives together.
Next big event will hopefully be the exchanging of contracts on 24th - here's hoping we get a phone call from the surveyor early this week...
And England beat Australia by three runs as we were driving back down the M5! Since when were they supposed to follow in the footsteps of Birmingham City in running their supporters' nerves ragged?
