Fantastic end to the third test yesterday - in the end England fell short, but they have proved they are up there with the Australians, and we must surely be in pole position to replace them as the best cricketing nation in the world when this current generation of Aussies - now into their 30s - move on.

And we received a late-night phone call from our buyers last night promising to push their financial advisor today to get the survey instructed. Apparently he doesn't work Mondays. From what I can gather, he doesn't work many other days of the week either. They were a bit miffed that the Halifax keeps chasing them - what do they expect? The Halifax can't get this man to either answer his phone or return his calls, and I'm on to them most days of the week now. Surprising really - I'd have thought that was our buyers' job...
