Lazy Sunday

Have done very little today, aside from chilling out and watching an enjoyable fourth day's cricket at Old Trafford. Our move is approaching the crunch date of exchanging contracts, which we hope to do in 10 days time. Although the legal side of things is now all tied up at our end and our buyer's, their financial advisor has still to instruct a surveyor, which we desperately hope will be done in the next 48 hours. Hopefully the delay is down to him completing their mortgage application and having the offer ready subject to the survey. What a contrast to our own position, whereby the survey and mortgage offer was sorted a month ago... Oh well. Fingers and toes crossed.

Just read that a-ha will be releasing their first single from the new album on 4th October, a day after we hope to complete our move to Colchester. The album follows 7th November and we'll be seeing them in concert at Wembley in early December with our friends Cav and Clare. Right now it all feels a million miles away...
