A flying visit
Off to London this afternoon for some support work as part of my training job. I rescheduled from this morning when my uncle J popped in en route to buying a caravan in Southend. He flew back from Edinburgh last night, and then bombed up the M4/M25/A12 before arriving at around midnight. After a whistle-stop tour of the house this morning he headed back down to his date with the caravan. It was good to see him and hear about the exploits of my cousins - President-elect Jemma, Uni booze hound Jon and Eisteddfod Chair Caitlin. Coupled with my sister Louise's placement in Ireland next year as part of her course I'm proud of all four of them. Of course, the 11+ year age gap doesn't bother me at all - they are still in nursery school, right? Right?
