Ebuyer moves forward

Just had an email from Ebuyer accepting their mistake, apologising for it and confirming a new order has been set up with the three missing items, so yah boo sucks to me for my comments yesterday.

Unfortunately one of the items is still incorrect - I will have a second DVD drive instead of a floppy drive. I was going to email them to point out the mistake until I discovered that according to the order that has been set up it's due for delivery today - which at least is excellent customer service (although whether that's because it's their policy or because I kicked up a fuss and played the journalist card I don't know). I think I'll wait until the goods have arrived before deciding whether to report the mistake - after all, the DVD drive is worth more than the floppy! Having said that, I have no need of it, but at least I can plunder a floppy drive from another system if necessary.

I wonder if the replacement kit will turn up today? It would enable me to build - or attempt to build - the PC this weekend...
