Went into Colchester at lunchtime to watch this movie starring Nicolas Cage and Michael Caine. It's a well-acted piece, and Cage's portrayal of a man drifting through life reminded me of a short period in my life when I drifted (some might say I'm still drifting!).
Got back to find no response to my email to Ebuyer. So I've just written a long covering letter and mailed a copy of the form to them by recorded delivery. I'm wondering why all these little packages were sent separately (ie, they weren't all placed in a larger box). If it's the case that Ebuyer now sends every single item separately (it didn't always do this), the question has to be asked: I ordered eight items, why does it seem to think that sending five packages constitutes the whole order? My case is watertight, but the frustrations of having to deal with a company that makes communication so difficult is so frustrating. There are plenty of other e-tailers out there, so Ebuyer won't receive any more custom from me after this debacle whatever the outcome. Right now I just want to receive my three missing items - I doubt a note of apology will be attached, never mind compensation (which I'm not bothered about anyway), but let's not walk before we can run, eh?
