In addition to my many (and no doubt increasingly boring) rants about the state of our planet, it is time I took more steps to improve my own record in this area. So, for the foreseeable future I shall share with you my resolutions to make myself a greener person without emptying a tin of Forest Dulux over my head...
1. Cut back on the number of plastic bags consumed. I already recycle as much plastic packaging as I can, but in light of Ikea's policy to charge 5p per plastic bag used (see here) it is time to take this one step further. I think I have a canvas bag that was given as a free gift when I bought a fair-trade shirt, so I shall use that. Question is: where do I put it to make sure I don't forget to take it with me?
