Look who's awarded himself $400m

Lee Raymond, ex-Chief Executive of Exxon Mobil has awarded himself a generous pension - see here. This is the Chief Executive of the company that has done more than most to try and sabotage the painfully slow movement towards global consensus on climate change. Raymond has funnelled $19m into groups that openly question global warming - presumably these groups don't base themselves in Florida, New Orleans, Africa, Alaska or other parts of the world already seeing the effects of what climate chaos can bring (big up to the BBC by the way for running a Climate Chaos season. Can you see Fox in the US doing that?).

Another thought struck me about yesterday's rant at the CEI - their position has shifted from denying climate change is happening to claiming it's a good thing. That means there's only another 359 degrees to go before they come into line with the harsh facts facing our nasty little species and its effect on the world that currently chooses to give it life.
