While it's perfectly okay for the likes of Myron Ebell to continue to dispute the FACT of human-inspired global warming (on that note, I do wish the BBC would stop consulting him for soundbites on the Today programme), apparently you're not allowed to protest the Iraq war with an Arabic t-shirt (see here). Only in America, as Magnum once sang.

Not that anyone's interested, but Ebell was responding to the fact California is leading the way on tackling climate change as a law designed to limit carbon emissions moves through the legislature (see here). Ebell claimed it'll turn California into a "third-world economy". Failure to tackle climate change will turn vast tracts of the US into the third world, full stop, Mr Ebell.
