A terrifying vision of the future...
... is revealed today on the front page of The Independent (see here). If nothing is done about global warming - which frankly should now overtake every single other issue as the most important - we're looking at generating so much drought that a Permian-level extinction event might well be a possibility. If you're wondering what a Permian-level event is, take 90 per cent of all life and wipe it out. The dinosaur extinction was nothing in comparison to this...
