Brown will make terrorism "top priority"

Having just watched The Day After Tomorrow - and well aware that it's sensationalist and unlikely in the extreme to be true (note I don't dismiss entirely the possibility of catastrophic climate change happening in the space of two weeks) - I would have thought he'd be better placed to make action against global warming his top priority. After all, winning the War on Terror will mean sweet FA if 20 years down the line we find ourselves in a world ravaged by runaway climate change.

Ho hum, the human race will refuse to see the wood for the trees until it's too late...
