Genes reunited

I've made some progress with certain branches of the old family tree, and recently uploaded the latest version to Genes Reunited, which others can search to find potential matches. So far I've had three responses - one that's not a direct match (but could be an indirect match if we go back to the 18th Century) on the Peers side, another on the Whillock side (related to me through my grandmother Caldicott and her mother Leach's side of the family) and this morning a link back to Daniel Haynes, who was the father of Sarah Ann Haynes who married Samuel Hirons in Northamptonshire in the 1850s. It's all quite exciting, but these are all distant ancestors. So far I've had little response to my initial replies, but hopefully that will change!
