The government has now decided we need another 575,000 homes in the West Midlands over the next 25 years (see here).
It has to be said that words completely and utterly fail me at this moment. Let's just say that in a world where we have too many people already, with the climate changing rapidly to reflect our wanton abuse of the planet we're living on, this doesn't seem the approach we should be taking. But what do I know? When government ministers - including the prime minister himself - spawn four or five children into a world already creaking at the seams, what else should we expect?
