The Prestige

Our friends Martin and Lynn have been with us this weekend, and after an enjoyable day trip to Ipswich yesterday where Toni had a very good day with her business at Belstead House and Martin, Lynn and I discovered Ipswich town centre, we decided to skip going out to the cinema and watched The Prestige, a thought-provoking and enjoyable movie starring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale and Michael Caine (see here) on Virgin's On-Demand service. Then, the girls retired and I was able to introduce Martin to the joys of Anchorman, the hilarious movie (if you're a boy, according to the girls) starring Will Ferrell, on DVD.

Today we're off to London - Lynn and Toni to go shopping, and dad, Martin and I to get our first taste of Wembley Stadium, where we'll be backing Morecambe against Exeter in the Conference play-off final. The thought that Morecambe could be playing league football next season is an appealing one, especially as I lived there for 12 months during my uni years.
