More damning evidence against Blair

An interesting comment in today's Observer - Blair committed Britain to war in Iraq in full knowledge of the fact the Americans had no plan for once they'd removed Saddam. Rather than rant about it, read the commentary piece here (the original article is here).

The fact is, Iraq (or Mesopotamia, as it was until the 1920s) has always been a bloody mess. I'm just learning that my great grandfather fought in Mesopotamia during the First World War. Britain has first-hand experience of how dangerous the area is, so why did Blair blunder into this even though the Yanks had no plans beyond taking their ill-aimed revenge for 9/11 on Saddam?
