Yet more data goes missing

I see nine NHS Trusts are now owning up to losing confidential data, to add to the government's Child Benefit department, the DVLA and no doubt other groups I've missed.

And this government thinks it should be able to foist ID cards on us when it can't be trusted to hold people's details securely? I bet it never occurred to Orwell to write 1984 with an incompetent bunch of muppets at the helm...
