53 per cent anxious without their mobile phone

It's stories like this (see here) that remind me that we have rapidly lost touch with what matters. I'm as guilty as anyone else - not necessarily about mobile phones, but email. I suspect that if we could learn to live without being constantly contactable, we'd have happier, less stressful lives as a result. Still, that's why I enjoy train journeys - a chance to sit down and relax. If I need to send a text, then great, but don't expect to get hold of me!
