Why is this reported as news?

The CBI - surprise, surprise - claims that British taxes are damaging to business (see here). We live in an oligarchy where business dominates all other interests as it is, so why the hell should they pay even less tax? People need to wake up and understand that when we simply roll over and left the CBI dictate policy it means lower wages, higher taxes, longer working hours, less protection and everything else that goes with it. Every time business scores a victory, the individual loses out. Why are people so thick they can't see this?
